The criteria for being awarded a scholarship are as follows:
- Applicants must have resided in San Diego County for the last 12 months.
- Applicants must be first time college students.
- Applicants must graduate in 2025 from a high school in San Diego County.
- Applicants must plan to attend a college or university in San Diego County for the 2025-2026 academic year.
- Applicants must plan to be enrolled in college full-time, a minimum of 12 credit hours.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
